About the role.
You'll manage the entire product design journey—from discovery and crafting user experiences to delivering detailed specifications.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Shaping overall strategy and making key decisions about product direction.
- Leading the end-to-end product design lifecycle, joining weekly design critiques, and collaborating closely with engineers and stakeholders to ensure a high-quality, consistent user experience.
- Rolling out features and product improvements that are quick to ship but high in quality.
- Creating user flows, prototypes, and detailed specs for your features.
- Ensuring the company maintains attention to detail and a user-centric approach.
- Building stunning, responsive websites and landing pages with Webflow.
- Exploring visual design in Figma and transforming it into web-native experiences.
About you and your approach:
- You have exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—and are fluent in English.
- You're a versatile Product Designer with experience in product-first companies, familiar with different stages of product, business, and team development.
- You excel in collaboration and empathy, working seamlessly with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to drive the product design process from start to finish.
- You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring everything is as polished as possible.
- You possess a problem-solving mindset, adept at working with data and constraints to inform design decisions and offer creative solutions.
- Your product design skillset is both deep and broad, covering user experience design (seamless user flows), user interface design (visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces), and design systems (maintaining or contributing to them).
- You have a strong branding skillset, demonstrating good taste in delivering visually compelling graphics and marketing media. You're comfortable producing and developing landing pages.

Here's our hiring process for this role:
- A 30-minute video call with Morgane - Talent Manager to ensure alignment of expectations. Our main focus is to clarify both your and the company's expectations regarding the role. This conversation is an opportunity to ask questions about the onboarding process, team dynamics, and day-to-day.
- A 45-minute video call with Victor - Product Designer to explore your design approach, and discuss how you tackle various design challenges and projects. This step will also give you insights into the specifics of the role, including the skills, knowledge, and abilities required, as well as the working environment and day-to-day life in the role. This session aims to ensure your design philosophy aligns with the team's expectations and to give you a clear understanding of the role's practical aspects.
- A 30-minute video call with Simo - founder to delve into the product-centric approach that defines our vision and strategy. This call aims to ensure alignment on the product vision and to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of folk's product philosophy.
- A fully remote exercise to assess your design approach, and process, while giving us a chance to project collaboration during a 60-minute video call with Victor, Simo, and Antoine - Software Engineer to discuss the exercise
- A 45-minute video call with Jean-Yves - founder to discuss our approach and vision and ensure alignment here as well.
