At folk we believe building a great company is about shipping a team and a product. In that exact order.
What matters to us is more than afterwork drinks or ping pong games (although we do enjoy those as well 😎). What matters to us is how we achieve our mission, it’s how we make decisions together - from people we hire to things we're building and everything in between.

That's why during our folk-off in September (while enjoying the 🔅 and the 🏔️ in Courchevel), we all sat down to discuss about what is making our day to day together unique. And we thought it would be great to share it with you as an open window on our life at folk.
Here's the set of guiding principles we pulled out from this discussion to strive our team experience:
Improve status quo. We take nothing for granted. We're creative and bold. We constantly strive for the best solution, and then we top it!
Make things simple. In everything we do, we stand by the no BS rule and we focus on the essential.
Enjoy the Cadence. We're looking to accomplish great things together (for us individually and for our users) and we take time to feel delighted by the ride that will get us there.
Build by blocks. We're building a great product of high quality and delight. It will require to break/replace blocks along the line and we're fine with it as we'll keep learning in the process.
We want to have an ever evolving, ever straightening team experience so this is a continuous work in progress 😎
