Hold each other accountable
Building a more diverse team and a workplace where every folker feels like they belong is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone can and should also feel comfortable holding each other accountable for it.
Don't assume.
- do not assume someone's pronouns. Use their name or gender-neutral pronouns (i.e they/them), until you know their pronouns.
- do not assume a person celebrates a specific holiday because of where they live or their ethnicity.
- do not assume that because someone identifies as a woman they want to become a parent.
