👋 Hi there,
folk is like the sales assistant your team never had. Our CRM is simple, integrated, and proactive. The tool of choice for over 4000+ businesses around the world. folk does the busy work for you, so you can focus on building real relationships.
Ready to make an impact? We want you on our team.
Up for the challenge? Read on.
We're looking for our future Technical Account Manager to own the technical relationship across folk's largest accounts — running the sales engineering that wins, expands and retains them.
Our biggest deals have changed shape. A +5-seat customer doesn't just want a demo: they want integration feasibility answered, their data migrated, their stack connected, their security questions handled, and their setup tailored before they sign. You'd be the one to own it properly — and to build the function around it.
About the role.
- Sales engineering (pre-sales). Partner with our three AEs to win +5-seat deals: technical scoping, POCs, integration and migration feasibility, security reviews.
- Solution design. Configure and tailor folk to each customer — custom setups, integrations, imports and migrations, API and automation work.
- Expansion & retention of top accounts. Own the technical success plans for our highest-value customers, drive seat expansion, and de-risk churn before it starts.
- Voice of the top customer. Bring structured requirements and feedback from our multi-seat accounts back into Product.
- Enablement. Equip Sales and CS with the technical answers, documentation and reusable assets they need so they stop being blocked on one person.
What success looks like.
- 3–6 months: you're fully ramped on the product and our top accounts, and you independently own the technical track of multi-seat deals — Sales no longer waits on anyone else.
- 6–12 months: a measurable lift in +5-seat win rate and expansion, plus shorter technical sales cycles.
- 12–14 months: you've validated a repeatable playbook that carries an account from signed to live and then into nurture and renewal — documented and handed off well enough that others can run it without you.
About you.
- You have proven AM or AE experience in B2B SaaS — genuinely customer-facing, with a clear link to revenue.
- You have real technical ownership behind you: APIs, integrations, data modeling, migrations, automation and no-code. You can configure a CRM-like product yourself and handle technical and security questions without escalating.
- You have a track record on deals and expansions — you've been in the room when they were won.
- You're an excellent communicator in English and French (our customers are in the US and across Europe) and you pair that with solid commercial acumen.
- You're comfortable being the only technical voice in the room, and you translate fluently between customers, AEs and Product.
You might be coming from: Sales or Solutions Engineer at a PLG, SMB→mid-market SaaS · Technical Account Manager or Technical CSM in B2B SaaS · Solutions Consultant or Implementation Lead with pre-sales exposure · Ops with a prior AE/AM background in B2B SaaS.
